|  | Decorative arts are the arts associated with the creation of useful items such as furniture, ceramics, glassware, metalwork, and textiles. These are the things we use in our everyday lives. While some furniture, ceramics, glassware, and so forth are merely "things," others are truly "works of arts" carefully crafted by master cabinetmakers and craftsmen and valued for their aesthetics as well as their utility. | ||
